Our first stop is Avington Living, a warm and welcoming lifestyle community resort in Point Cook that has graciously opened its doors to Spectrum Lawyers. This visit is about fostering trust and ensuring that every individual feels supported and seen. We know that taking steps like preparing a Will or setting up a Power of Attorney can feel overwhelming or even intimidating. But it doesn’t have to be, and Spectrum Lawyers is here to make sure of that.
We understand that life doesn’t always fit neatly into a calendar. That’s why flexibility is at the core of everything we do. For many of the residents at Avington Living lifestyle resort, getting to an office or setting up a formal appointment might not be a comfortable or convenient option. So, Spectrum Lawyers has decided to bring the process to them, where they feel most at ease, in a familiar environment.
We’re looking forward to creating a casual setting where everyone can feel free to ask questions, big or small, without pressure or formality. Our lawyers presenting the information session and sitting with the residents are Donna, Hannah, and Alyssa, and they will be supported by our administrator Kelly. Our team will be explaining our Will and Power of Attorney Kit, which outlines steps to provide a clear and easy overview of what’s involved in setting up a Will, a Power of Attorney, or both. Our team will also have meaningful conversations about what really matters to the residents — providing for their family or friends, protecting their wishes, and offering them peace of mind. Whether someone is ready to get started right away or is just gathering information for the future, they’ll walk away with the tools and confidence they need to take that next step when they’re ready.
At the heart of this Road Show is something deeply human: the desire to make things a little easier and a lot more personal. We know that legal processes can often seem complicated, but our goal is to simplify, clarify, and empower. No legal jargon, no confusing steps — just honest guidance, real support, and genuine care. We’re not just offering a service — we’re building relationships. We’re honoured to have the opportunity to sit down with individuals who’ve lived rich lives and are now thinking about how best to protect their legacy.
